LightWork by Davis Furniture is a multi-use chair that provides innovative solutions to the ever-changing workplace. A result of years of collaboration between Jonathan Prestwich and Davis Furniture, LightWork adapts to the user through a patent pending mechanism integrated within the molded foam seat. Combining instant comfort with a casual aesthetic, the molded plastic shell utilizes inner and outer components that work together to provide a gentle recline and support the user’s natural movement.
Offered in a range of outer shell plastic colors with matching powder coat base finishes, LightWork is a highly convertible task chair able to meet a range of functions and aesthetics. Its base is available in several distinct options, and the inner shell, constructed of molded foam and fully upholstered, provides the finishing touch to this design.
DavisThe Davis Furniture story reflects the "spirit of enterprise" so common in the early development of the furniture industry in High Point, North Carolina. During World War II, John Turner Davis, Sr. recognized what many enterprising High Pointers had already seen during sixty years of furniture manufacturing in the area. Starting a family business was a way to establish future prosperity for him and his family.
