The Join chair by Davis Furniture fosters an aesthetic that is both ultramodern and unexpectedly retro. The beautiful 3D molded plywood veneer shell features a deeply contoured seat for supreme comfort. This flexible collection embodies a range of customizable options from base design to upholstery options and includes a complementary barstool.
Join is most easily distinguished by the iconic shape and style of the plywood shell. Offered as a one-piece or two-piece shell, the iconic shape stays the same, but it achieved through two very different processes. The one-piece shell is a 3D molded plywood shell with a deeply contoured seat. The two-piece shell changes the aesthetic with an ultramodern approach – fusing painted wood and wood veneer. Two distinct base styles – the sleek four-leg metal chair base and the iconic A-frame chair base – create entirely unique looks, each to their own style.
DavisThe Davis Furniture story reflects the "spirit of enterprise" so common in the early development of the furniture industry in High Point, North Carolina. During World War II, John Turner Davis, Sr. recognized what many enterprising High Pointers had already seen during sixty years of furniture manufacturing in the area. Starting a family business was a way to establish future prosperity for him and his family.
