Ginkgo Lounge by Davis Furniture reimagines the style of the original Ginkgo chair and centers on providing optimum comfort; bringing a casual feel with a sophisticated look. Ginkgo Lounge is offered in high and mid back heights and is further transformed through its three distinct base designs. Its wood base evokes a warm, natural aesthetic, while the wire base is minimal and modern. The four-prong base embodies a classic style with fixed, swivel or memory return options.
Ginkgo Lounge makes a big statement with the smallest details. A beautiful double-needle stitch detail runs the perimeter of the upholstered shell. These lounge chairs also employ an innovative upholstery technique, featured in the exterior back, providing a perfect seam every time with no stitches in sight. An optional headrest may also be added, providing additional comfort and a slight twist on the original design.

During World War II, John Turner Davis, Sr. recognized what many enterprising High Pointers had already seen during sixty years of furniture manufacturing in the area. Starting a family business was a way to establish future prosperity for him and his family.
